Entry-level position; training provided. Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, steel manufacturing, or forklift experience is a plus. Experience Requirements Ability to follow safety and quality procedures in a manufacturing environment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience in steel manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, or forklift operation is beneficial but not required. Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the entire shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 25+ pounds regularly. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Steel-toe boots required. Job Duties Sort rail spikes by identifying and separating them based on the numbers stamped on the head. Fill metal pails with rail spikes and secure lids for shipment. Inspect products for accuracy and quality before packaging. Prepare materials for shipping and storage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. Assist with general warehouse and manufacturing duties as assigned. You will verify inventory, maintain accurate product locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure safe, efficient movement of products while following established workplace procedures. The Material Handler helps maintain productive warehouse operations by safely handling materials and supporting inventory movement throughout the facility. This role requires dependability, organization, and a commitment to workplace safety.
