This is an important leadership position that works closely with company ownership and serves as a central point of contact for employees, families, clients, county representatives, applicants, and community partners. We are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate well, stay organized, support employees, build strong relationships with families, and help ensure that services and day-to-day operations run smoothly. Responsibilities Overseeing day-to-day employee, client, and operational needs Serving as a primary managerial contact for employees Supporting and supervising employees working in client homes and community settings Coordinating recruitment and presenting qualified candidates to company ownership for final consideration Assisting with employee hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing support Maintaining appropriate documentation related to employee attendance, performance, conduct, and service-related concerns Receiving and responding to new client referrals Communicating with prospective clients, families, county representatives, and other professionals Coordinating client intake and onboarding Maintaining accurate and organized referral and client records Conducting and documenting client check-ins Helping coordinate services for children and families Building positive relationships with clients, families, employees, counties, and community partners Coordinating required employee training and tracking completion of training requirements Reviewing documentation to help ensure records are complete, accurate, and timely Assisting with compliance requirements and required documentation Helping address employee and client concerns and recognizing when matters should be escalated to company ownership Managing multiple priorities, responsibilities, and deadlines Using electronic records, cloud-based systems, email, calendars, and other business technology Maintaining strict confidentiality and security of client, family, employee, and company information Following applicable privacy requirements, including HIPAA when applicable Using professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information Providing regular updates to company ownership regarding employees, clients, referrals, training, and other operational matters Working closely with company ownership to support the continued operation and responsible growth of the company Schedule This is a full-time salaried position expected to work approximately 40 hours per week, generally Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Work will primarily take place in the office, with travel to meetings, client or family homes, trainings, and other approved business activities as needed. Some schedule flexibility is available to accommodate meetings with families, clients, counties, employees, and other professionals while maintaining the expected full-time workweek and availability needed for the position. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered At least 5 years of experience in operations, business administration, or a related service-oriented environment At least 3 years of experience supervising employees Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities, responsibilities, projects, and deadlines Ability to maintain accurate and organized records Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to build professional relationships with employees, clients, families, community partners, county representatives, and company leadership Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Strong computer and technology skills, including experience with electronic records, cloud-based systems, email, file-sharing systems, and learning new software Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion Ability to recognize situations that require involvement or escalation to company ownership Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites and meetings as required Preferred Qualifications Disability services Home- and community-based services Home care or health care Social services or another regulated human-services setting Wisconsin Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program Medicaid-funded services County waiver agencies or client referral and authorization processes Supervising employees who work independently or in multiple locations Recruitment and employee onboarding Employee training and performance management Working with children and families, particularly children with disabilities Working with SSCs, County Program Coordinators, social workers, and other professionals involved in services About Alseth Family Support Alseth Family Support is a family-owned organization that provides services to children and families through Wisconsin's Children's Long-Term Support Program. Services include respite care, personal supports, mentoring, transportation, daily living assistance, and skills training. Our goal is to provide dependable, respectful, family-centered support while building strong relationships between the children and families we serve and the employees who support them. As Alseth Family Support continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced manager who can help support our employees and families while maintaining the personal, family-centered approach on which the company was built.
