Jane Ryan Insurance Group is an independent insurance brokerage providing clients with insurance options for home, auto, business, life, health, Medicare and more. We are adding a Client Relationship Specialist for our personal & commercial lines division. For this role, the candidate should have experience in an insurance role for 2+ years. A Connecticut P&C insurance license is required at the start of this role. For candidates with less than 2 years experience and/or no active insurance license, you are encouraged to apply for one of our other open roles. There is the potential to earn commission in this role in addition to salary (no sales or cold calls are required) plus bonus. Paid holidays plus 4 weeks of paid time off. Our company offers a hybrid work option (up to 8 days per month remote) available once a person is fully trained with our systems. We also understand and appreciate that people have a life outside of the office. We acknowledge this means that you might need to schedule your day outside of traditional business hours sometimes or step away during the day for doctor appointments, kid or pet needs, and prioritizing your health. The dress code is very relaxed so long as a person looks presentable when in front of clients or company representatives. We do have pets (usually dogs, the occasional cat) in the office at various times, if this is a concern for allergies or fear of dogs. Responsibilities Working with the existing clients to: Helping to answer questions about existing policies Researching changing client needs within the carriers to ensure they are properly covered Gathering information and documents to submit to carriers or maintain in CRM Managing upcoming client renewals by communicating any changes to the client and presenting alternatives Offering additional products to existing clients and educating them on coverages
