Description Customer Design Support Specialist (AutoCAD Desk) A growing manufacturing company in Latrobe, PA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Design Support Specialist to join its team. This position serves as an important link between customers, sales management, and internal production teams. The Customer Design Support Specialist will provide technical support, modify customer CAD drawings, process orders, maintain documentation, and coordinate with sales and production to ensure customer requirements are met accurately.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, technically minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Modify and update customer CAD drawings to meet specifications.
Provide technical support to the Sales Management team.
Process customer orders and maintain accurate order documentation.
Coordinate with sales, production, and customers to ensure order accuracy.
Prepare and revise technical documentation as needed.
Assist with quotations, product configurations, and customer inquiries. Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
2+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, manufacturing support, technical support, drafting, or a related field.
CAD software and ERP/CRM systems experience required
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with CAD software and ERP/CRM systems preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving and customer relationship skills.
Technical aptitude and willingness to learn products and manufacturing processes. Preferred Skills Experience modifying or updating CAD drawings.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and product specifications.
Experience working with customer designs, product specifications, or technical documentation.
Strong mechanical or technical aptitude.
Professional phone and email communication skills.
