Radio Technician We are looking for a talented Radio Technician who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for performing the installation, maintenance and repair of communications equipment and systems, and any additional associated infrastructure. What You'll Do
Install, configure, test, and maintain communication systems on job sites
Install, configure, test, and maintain Digital Radios, GPS, Cameras, and ELD devices
Perform diagnostics tests on communication equipment and systems
Document and report accurate services records
Communicate with project managers to ensure that projects remain on schedule and services are completed in a timely fashion
Provide support to all end users in the field to ensure communication lines are active throughout project progress What You'll Bring
High school graduate (Education beyond high school preferred)
1-3 years of experience in radio technology installation and service and/or 1-3 years of automotive wiring experience
Basic understanding of 12
& 24-volt systems
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
Ability to travel greater than 50% of the time
Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
Ability to communicate with employees and vendors and exchange accurate information in these situations
Familiarity with electrical codes, construction safety practices, and blueprints
Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record What You'll Get
