This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible part-time position who enjoys taking ideas and turning them into finished, production-ready artwork. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator , excellent attention to detail, and effective communication skills. This position requires the ability to take a customer's idea, image, logo, or concept and develop it through the entire design process—from initial concept to final artwork and film-ready production files . The position offers flexibility in scheduling, with hours varying depending on workload and production needs. Responsibilities Create and modify artwork primarily using Adobe Illustrator Take customer ideas, sketches, logos, or images and turn them into clean, production-ready designs Manage artwork from concept through final film/output Recreate, clean up, trace, vectorize, and adjust customer-supplied artwork Create one-color and multi-color designs for apparel and other printed products Prepare artwork and color separations for production Ensure files are properly sized, formatted, and prepared for film and printing Review designs for accuracy, placement, color, spelling, and overall print quality Communicate effectively with customers and team members to understand design requests and necessary revisions Manage multiple projects while meeting production deadlines Organize and maintain artwork and production files Assist with additional graphic design and production projects as needed Experience Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is required Experience creating and preparing vector artwork for production Understanding of layers, paths, typography, color, sizing, and file preparation Ability to take a design from an initial concept or image through finished, film-ready artwork Experience recreating, tracing, and cleaning up logos and customer-provided artwork Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to understand customer requests and translate ideas into finished designs Comfortable receiving feedback and making design revisions Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple projects Experience with screen printing, apparel decorating, color separations, prepress, or print production is preferred

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
