Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) State certification or licensure as required for interpreters or ASL teachers Prior experience supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students (strongly preferred) Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families Commitment to making learning accessible and supportive for all students

Responsibilities:

Provide in-classroom and event-based sign language interpretation Work one-on-one or in groups to ensure full access to curriculum Support classroom activities, discussions, and materials translation as needed Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement accessible lesson plans Offer support and encouragement to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
