Key Responsibilities:

Provide skilled sign language interpretation services in both in-person and telehealth formats. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students requiring American Sign Language assistance. Facilitate effective communication during classroom activities, meetings, and other school functions. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interpretations. Adapt interpreting techniques to meet the diverse needs of students in educational settings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Proficiency in American Sign Language and experience interpreting within school settings. Experience interpreting through telehealth platforms preferred. Strong understanding of educational environments and the ability to work collaboratively with educators. Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity. Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter is highly desirable.
