Part‑Time and On‑Call Staff - Older Adult Advocacy Center (OAAC) Telespond Senior Services - Scranton, PA $14.50 per hour The Older Adult Advocacy Center at Telespond Senior Services is seeking reliable, compassionate individuals to join our team as part‑time and on‑call staff. We are looking primarily for weekend coverage, however additional shifts during the week are also available. There is potential for full‑time opportunities as the program continues to grow. About the Role OAAC provides a safe, trauma‑informed environment for older adults in crisis. Staff support guests by offering supervision, engagement, and a calm, structured setting. This is a non‑medical, non‑clinical role focused on safety, dignity, and advocacy. Available Shifts Shifts operate on a rotating schedule and include: 7am to 3pm 3pm to 11pm 11pm to 7am Split shifts may be arranged when needed. What We're Looking For Dependable individuals who can work weekends Candidates comfortable working independently and as part of a small team Strong communication skills and a calm, professional presence Experience with older adults, human services, or crisis support is helpful but not required Must pass background checks and required clearances Compensation $14.50 per hour Opportunities for additional hours and future full‑time roles Why Join OAAC You will be part of a mission‑driven program with county‑level visibility, supporting older adults during some of their most vulnerable moments.
