The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, providing writing feedback in a workshop format, and inspiring students to achieve their full potential in reading, writing, and critical thinking. This role requires a commitment to student success and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Responsibilities
Provide small group tutoring sessions to students in person
Grade students' homework using answer key
Provide workshop on writing skills
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students Experience A bachelor's degree is required.
A degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred. Previous teaching experience is preferred. ESL experience/certification is required. We welcome candidates who are enthusiastic about teaching Reading, Writing, and Language Arts!
