2:15 PM•4:30 PM Part-Time | Year-Round Position About the Role Sportznmore is seeking an energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic Assistant Multi-Sport Coach to help lead fun and engaging after-school sports programs for children in TK through 3rd grade . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children, staying active, and helping kids build confidence through sports and movement. As an Assistant Coach, you will support the Head Coach by helping run drills, games, and skill-building activities while creating a positive and encouraging environment for every child. Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach in leading after-school sports classes Run fun drills, games, and movement activities for TK-3rd grade students Encourage participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship Help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment Assist with equipment setup and breakdown Support class management and student engagement Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff Serve as a positive role model for students Follow all safety procedures and program policies Qualifications Experience working with children ages 4-9 preferred Background in sports, coaching, teaching, camps, childcare, dance, fitness, or recreation is a plus Positive, energetic, patient, and dependable personality Ability to engage and motivate young children Comfortable leading active games and drills Reliable transportation Available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons Ability to work as part of a team and support the Head Coach Required Clearances Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background clearance Current TB test (or ability to obtain) CPR/First Aid Certification preferred Must meet all school-site and program compliance requirements
