Description of Position and Duties:

The Middle School Boys Basketball Coach will work with and under the Head Boys Basketball Coach and Activities Director in providing leadership and instruction to the Albany Huskies Boys Basketball program within the philosophy and rules of Albany Area Schools, the Albany Huskies Athletics Program and in accordance with the Minnesota State High School League. This person must be able to build relationships and work successfully with student athletes, assistant coaches, parents, the community, the Activities Director and school administration as well as other programs and coaches in the District. Scheduled hours and days per week: Monday

•Friday 3:00pm

•5:30pm Games dates as scheduled

Season Dates:

Mid November

•Mid March Practice and Game times as scheduled throughout the season

•there will be weekend and evening competitions. There are off season duties and expectations as well.

Education Required/Qualifications:
