Maybe you're a parent looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity that allows you to get back into a sport you love. Gymnastics Central is looking for an enthusiastic coach to join our Xcel competitive gymnastics teams! We're looking for someone who enjoys working with young athletes, understands gymnastics fundamentals, and wants to help develop the next generation of gymnasts. Whether you're an experienced gymnastics coach, a former competitive gymnast, or someone who stepped away from coaching to focus on family or another career, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Be Doing You'll work with athletes and coaches in our Xcel programs , helping them build strong gymnastics foundations, develop new skills, and prepare for competitions.

Responsibilities include:

Coaching Xcel athletes on Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor. Teaching proper technique, skill progressions, and gymnastics fundamentals. Helping athletes develop strength, flexibility, confidence, and consistency. Assisting with routine development and competition preparation. Creating a positive, structured, and encouraging practice environment. Working collaboratively with our existing team coaches. Attending assigned competitions, mock meets, and team events. Encouraging athletes to work hard, have fun, and take pride in their accomplishments. Who Would Be a Great Fit? This position could be perfect for someone who: Was a competitive gymnast and misses being involved in the sport. Has previous recreational or competitive gymnastics coaching experience. Is a parent looking for rewarding part-time evening work. Understands gymnastics fundamentals and proper skill progressions. Enjoys teaching children and helping them achieve their goals. Is dependable, patient, enthusiastic, and works well with others. Previous Xcel coaching experience is a plus, but not required. We're also interested in former competitive gymnasts who have a strong understanding of the sport and would enjoy transitioning into coaching. We can help the right candidate become familiar with our Xcel program, coaching expectations, and competition requirements. Schedule & Compensation Part-time position with evening and Saturday coaching hours. Weekend availability required for assigned competitions and team events. Schedule based on experience, availability, and program needs. Competitive hourly pay based on qualifications and coaching experience.
