QUALIFICATIONS
Springfield School District seeks individuals who are committed to the mission and vision of the school. Individuals are hired based on their relevant experience and demonstration of responsibility and flexibility. Specifically, we are looking for staff members with: Belief in the mission and vision of the schoolRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Relentless commitment to raising academic achievement of all student-athletes Organize and attend all practices and contests Ability to motivate studentsAbility to individualize instructionsStrong communication skillsKnowledge of rules and strategiesExperience as a coach preferredExperience as a player preferredEnthusiasm for the sportCoaching certifications preferred (NFHS)Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, administrators and publicMaintain high level of ethical behaviorAvailable to work a flexible schedule including afternoon/evening/weekendsCarry out other duties as assigned by athletic director that are sport or coaching relatedBenefits
