QUALIFICATIONS

Springfield School District seeks individuals who are committed to the school's mission and vision. Individuals are hired based on their relevant experience and demonstration of responsibility and flexibility. Specifically, we are looking for staff members who Believe in the school's mission and vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Relentless commitment to raising the academic achievement of all student-athletes Organize and attend all practices and contests Ability to motivate studentsAbility to individualize instructionsStrong communication skillsKnowledge of rules and strategiesExperience as a coach preferredExperience as a player preferredEnthusiasm for the sportCoaching certifications preferred (VPA / NFHS)Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, administrators, and publicMaintain a high level of ethical behaviorAvailable to work a flexible schedule, including afternoon/evening/weekendsCarry out other duties as assigned by the athletic director that are sport or coaching-related -Interested parties, please submit a cover letter, application, and three (3) letters of reference online at http://www.schoolspring.
