Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Anthropology in the Department of Geography and Anthropology with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. Teach a variety of undergraduate courses, including Cultural Anthropology and Research Methods. KSU uses a differentiated workload model. The baseline teaching load is 3/3. Develop and teach upper and lower division electives in their area(s) of expertise. Supervise undergraduate research. Develop and maintain an active research program including the pursuit of external funding. Contribute to department, college, and/or university service activities. Teach courses of various sizes, including large class sizes, in various modalities on the Kennesaw and/or Marietta campuses.
