Overview School Moves/Preschool Moves is an on-location dance studio that brings dance classes into schools and the community. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher to join our dynamic team for our Framingham location. Creative Movement classes for preschool aged students starting in October. We teach at two locations in Framingham. The ideal candidate will have a background in dance, a love of kids, be engaging, patient and reliable. The Dance Instructor will play a crucial role in developing students' skills, confidence, and appreciation for the art of dance.

Availability:

Mornings before 12pm. Days are flexible. 1-2 days per week. Must have at least one year of Dance teaching experience Experience with children ages Preschool - 2nd grade is a plus. Duties Executing lesson plans, while creating an engaging, fun, nurturing atmosphere for different age groups, including preschoolers and/or elementary age students. Teach various dance styles, ensuring students grasp fundamental techniques while encouraging personal expression. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and creativity. Qualifications Experience in dance instruction in at least one style of dance (ballet, jazz, hip-hop, pre-ballet etc.). Experience working with preschool-aged and elementary school-aged children is preferred. Background in early childhood education is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire students effectively. Dependable and reliable. Pay is commensurate with experience.
