Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years' experience operating a vehicle requiring a Class A
Commercial Driver's License; five (5) years preferred.
Valid NC Class A CDL.
Training experience preferred (with a school or as a company trainer).
Educational experience preferred.
Acceptable and continuously maintained Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) throughout employment.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Current or past Hazmat endorsement preferred.
Basic computer knowledge required (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
Subject to a pre-employment DOT drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment, per FMCSA regulations.
Agriculture experience is preferred. Live haul, feed trailers, shavings, pellets, ag equipment, etc. can be considered as agriculture.
Working Conditions
Will work in and around the cab of a tractor; must be able to climb in and out multiple times per day and may need to climb in and out of trailers and squat, crawl, or get under trailers.
Will work outside on the training field when needed; must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
Will work in extreme heat and cold, and in the rain, when on the training field.
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours in these conditions.

Driving Experience — total years' experience operating a Class A CDL vehicle; types of vehicles/equipment operated (e.g., van, flatbed, tanker, doubles/triples);
CDL endorsements held.
Education — school name, location, degree/diploma earned, and date awarded.
Licenses & Certifications — CDL expiration date; Hazmat endorsement (if applicable); Third-Party CDL Examiner certification (if applicable); any instructor certifications, with dates earned and expiration.
Relevant Training — professional development, workshops, or courses completed related to truck driving, safety, or instruction.
Teaching/Training Experience (if applicable) — where, subject or skills taught, dates, and role (e.g., company trainer, school instructor).
References — three (3) professional references, including name, relationship to applicant, phone number, and email address.
