Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and respectful interactions among students. Lead youth group activities, outdoor games, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises that encourage social skills and teamwork. Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention in collaboration with other staff or specialists. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and program updates. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; camp experience or babysitting background is highly valued. Strong classroom management skills coupled with the ability to foster a positive learning environment. Experience with special education or youth development programs is preferred. Ability to supervise children outdoors safely during outdoor activities or field trips. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and engaging with parents.
