Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their formative years. In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional well-being. Your expertise will help lay a strong foundation for students' academic success and lifelong love of learning. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating Montessori, preschool, or other pedagogical approaches as appropriate. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and library services to foster well-rounded development. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to track student progress and facilitate assessment-driven instruction. Conduct formative and summative student assessments to evaluate individual growth and inform instructional strategies. Manage classroom behavior through effective conflict management and behavior management techniques, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students. Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, academic interventions, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) to meet diverse student needs. Support children with special education requirements or disabilities by implementing tailored educational plans and accommodations. Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, childhood development, literacy education, teaching experience with young children, and working with students with disabilities. Maintain accurate records of student performance data analysis and prepare reports for parents and school administration. Foster strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative educational community. Skills Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and preschool teaching methodologies. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment-driven instruction, and instructional design. Experience working with students with disabilities or special educational needs; familiarity with academic interventions and classroom management strategies. Strong understanding of learning technology tools such as LMS platforms for tracking progress and delivering instruction. Ability to analyze student performance data effectively for quantitative analysis of progress evaluation. Skilled in behavior management techniques and conflict resolution within a classroom setting. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community resources such as library services. Experience teaching math, literacy education, physical education, or Toddler care is highly desirable. Knowledge of educational compliance regulations relevant to early childhood settings; experience working in private schools or Montessori environments is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers while providing academic advising when needed.
