To Be Determined Job Description Poultney Elementary School-Long-Term Sub Second Grade Teacher -PoES School is seeking an anticipated long-term substitute for 2nd grade,for the months of November through March, 2027 (tentative). Our school serves approximately 215 students, grades PreK-6. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes;

• Knowledge of elementary research-based best practices in literacy and mathematics
• Knowledge of MTSS and layered instructional practices including data collection
• Knowledge of proficiency-based grading practices
• Knowledge of the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards
• Knowledge of technology integration into the learning environment
• Knowledge of best practices regarding student management protocols
• Knowledge of formative and summative curricular assessments and use of data to inform instruction.
• Knowledge of best practices to support student social-emotional needs including regulation, restorative, and proactive approaches
• Evidence of strong connection with students and families
• Strong communication skills as evidenced through a quality application
• Licensed or eligible for Vermont Educators License

Salary Range:

$47,444-$97,260(Prorated per number of work days)
