School of Science, Technology, and Mathematics Southern Wesleyan University is seeking to hire adjunct faculty to teach courses in 1) General Engineering I and II, 2) Engineering Disciplines and skills, and 3) Programming and problem-solving. See below for additional details. Teaching opportunities are available for Spring 2024 (updated 8/18/23). Primary Responsibilities Teach Engineering courses face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online (with weekly synchronous office hours and at least one synchronous lecture/discussion session per week). Collaborate with the program coordinator and other adjunct faculty in the program. Optional opportunities to develop and update the Forensic science course periodically for additional pay. Qualifications/Requirements Academic. A master's degree or earned a doctorate in Engineering or a related area with at least 18 graduate credits in Engineering. Preference will be given to applicants with previous college teaching experience. Desire and/or experience integrating the Christian faith with the teaching and practice of Engineering discipline are essential. Mission and Lifestyle Expectations.
