THIS IS AN AT-WILL POSITION.
Use the Job ID based on the Position Location as follows Location Job ID 500 Civic Center Way, Royal Palm Beach 35706 Provides research services to members as part of a team; instructs members in the use of traditional/electronic reference sources and online public access catalog. Participates in collection maintenance and development; maintains research and non-fiction collections. Plans and implements adult classes/activities; provides readers' advisory services; assists with conducting internet/other computer classes to the public.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following: A Master's Degree in Library Science (MLS) accredited by the American Library Association (ALA).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include: Experience working in a public/academic library reference section, Experience providing instructions on downloading media, Experience presenting programs/instructions to groups, Experience providing readers' advisory services, Experience with collection maintenance/development, Experience using computer/internet/data-based resources, and Bi/trilingual (English/Spanish/Creole).
