Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated person to join our vibrant Hawaiian-focused charter school learning community. In this role, you will support office staff and classroom teachers and contribute to creating an engaging, inclusive, and nurturing environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Your enthusiasm for education and commitment to student success will help foster a positive learning atmosphere where every child can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while developing your skills in education and child development. Responsibilities Assist office staff with various managerial, financial, and logistical duties. Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities. Support students with special educational needs, including those with disabilities or autism, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations and encouragement. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive classroom behavior and social-emotional development. Provide one-on-one tutoring or mentoring to students who need extra help in reading, writing, or math. Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor student progress and communicate effectively about individual needs and achievements. Experience Experience working with children in educational settings such as classrooms, childcare centers, or private schools is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and families are required.
Pay:
$43,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
