Seeking highly effective professional educators to serve as teachers for the 2026-2027 Young Fives Full day classroom program
Applicant must be well versed in early childhood development, best instructional practices, diagnostics and interventions.
Applicant must embrace any District-wide approaches and applicable training for program implementation.
Applicant must be prepared to teach students utilizing whole group, small group, centers/stations and tailor instruction to meet individual developmental needs.
Applicant must be knowledgeable in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment that supports the social and emotional development of all students.
Applicants must be willing to work collaboratively with Community Education and Teaching and Learning.
Assignment may have an extended annual work schedule to support student and family orientation into the program.
Extended schedule to include home visits.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current district professional educator
Valid Michigan teaching certificate.
Endorsement required, ZG or ZE and ZA or ZS.
Effective or Highly Effective overall rating on most recent professional evaluation.
