Parker Anderson Enrichment is hiring energetic, dependable instructors to lead in-person after-school enrichment classes at partner schools throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Hoboken, and Jersey City . We offer a wide variety of programs, so we're looking for candidates from many different backgrounds and specialties — you don't need to teach everything!
We're Hiring Instructors For:
STEM & Science LEGO & Engineering Art & Sculpture Acting, Drama & Public Speaking Sports, Basketball & Movement Yoga & Mindfulness Piano & Voice/Singing Spanish Immersion Cooking & Nutrition General children's enrichment Pay & Schedule $50+ per class Higher rates available for certain specialized programs Classes are typically approximately 1 hour Weekday afternoons, generally between 2:30-5:00 PM Most instructors teach 1-5 classes per week , depending on availability Classes usually meet once per week on a consistent day Programs typically run 8-18 weeks Curriculum and materials are provided for many programs This is a very part-time position and can be a great fit for someone looking to add a few consistent, well-paid afternoon hours to their schedule. Who We're Looking For Our instructors come from many backgrounds, including: Teachers Teaching Artists College & Graduate Students Actors Musicians Coaches Fitness Professionals STEM Professionals Artists Chefs Childcare Professionals Ideal candidates are: Energetic, engaging and comfortable leading groups of children Reliable and punctual Experienced working with PreK-6th grade students Able to create a fun but structured classroom environment Available for at least one consistent weekday afternoon Comfortable commuting to their assigned school location Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, camps, coaching, childcare, after-school programs or children's activities is strongly preferred. Locations New York City Manhattan Brooklyn New Jersey Hoboken Jersey City Assignments are offered based on your location, experience, specialty and weekday availability . Requirements Candidates must be able to complete the appropriate school fingerprint/background-clearance requirements for their assigned location.
