After-School Teacher & Enrichment Instructor (Part-Time) NYC (Manhattan & Brooklyn) | NJ (Jersey City & Hoboken) $50+ per class | Flexible Weekday Afternoons | Ongoing Openings Inspire. Teach. Parker Anderson Enrichment is seeking enthusiastic, dependable instructors to lead engaging after-school enrichment classes for elementary-aged students throughout New York City and New Jersey . Whether your background is in education, sports, music, STEM, art, sculpture, theater, languages, fitness, or another specialty, we'd love to hear from you! Our instructors help students build confidence, discover new interests, and develop lifelong skills through fun, hands-on learning experiences in a structured and supportive environment. Position Details Pay:
Starting at $50+ per class (higher rates available for specialized subjects and experienced instructors)
Schedule:
1-3 weekday afternoons per week
Class Length:
Approximately 1 hour
Arrival Time:
20-30 minutes before class
Locations:
Partner schools throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City, and Hoboken Most classes meet from 3:00-4:00 PM , with arrival around 2:30 PM . Some schools begin closer to 3:30 PM . Please apply only if you're consistently available between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM at least one or two weekdays each week, taking travel time into consideration. What You'll Do Lead engaging, hands-on enrichment classes for elementary-aged students Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Follow the provided curriculum while bringing your own enthusiasm, creativity, and teaching style Encourage participation, teamwork, curiosity, and confidence Communicate professionally with school staff and Parker Anderson leadership Help create a safe, fun, and memorable after-school experience Qualifications We're looking for instructors who: Have experience working with elementary-aged children in schools, camps, tutoring, coaching, or enrichment programs Are reliable, punctual, and professional Have strong classroom management and communication skills Enjoy leading groups and creating engaging learning experiences NYCDOE and/or NJDOE fingerprint clearance is required before teaching. If you are not yet fingerprinted, we'll guide you through the process based on your teaching location(s).
