Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Worker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Be available Monday-Friday, September to early June After school

Program Staff:

2:45pm-6pm

• Provide individual and group support to young people, addressing their emotional, social, and educational needs.
• Develop and lead recreational, educational, and social activities to promote positive relationships and a sense of community.
• Collaborate with other youth workers and professionals to design and deliver programs that meet the needs of the young people.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with the young people, their families, and the wider community.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all young people in the program.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of program policies and procedures.
• Monitor and record the progress of the young people, identifying any areas of concern and implementing strategies to address them.

Skills:

• Experience working with young people, preferably in a youth work or education setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with young people and their families.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old; minimum education of High School Diploma, some college preferred

Pay:

From $15.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
