Preschool Teacher

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the developmental growth of children from toddler to preschool age. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, social skills, and emotional well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive team. Responsibilities Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Support early intervention strategies and adapt teaching methods for children with special education needs. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social interactions among students. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor each child's growth and learning outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of lesson plans, child development progress, incident reports, and mandated reporting laws compliance. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred, but not required. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education practices. Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods is preferred. Proven ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is a plus. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations ensures compliance with legal standards. Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with the foundational skills they need to thrive!
