Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula (Abeka Curriculum knowledge is favorable) that promote literacy, math, physical education, social-emotional development, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Music) Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and active participation Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to monitor growth and tailor instruction accordingly Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols Plan engaging lessons that incorporate early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a preschool setting, including toddler care and early childhood education (not required, but highly favorable) Strong knowledge of child development principles, classroom management, and behavior management techniques Experience developing curriculum, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork Certification in first aid and CPR is favorable; ongoing professional development in childhood development is highly valued Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a nurturing environment for young learners MUST be able to pass background check and drug screening Join us in shaping the future by providing a safe, enriching space where children can learn, grow, and thrive!
