Infant Teacher - Part Time 2pm-6pm

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. We are a Christian Preschool located in Desert Rock Church near SanTan Valley in Anthem Florence. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, building their development through engaging activities and positive interactions. We are looking for an individual that has a minimum of 1 year experience in a licensed infant classroom. The open position is for an afternoon teacher with availability 2pm-6pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities Create a safe, and welcoming classroom environment for all students. Engage children in interactive learning experiences that promote curiosity and exploration. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, providing feedback to parents as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development at home. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging social skills and emotional regulation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Requirements Experience in early childhood education or related fields such as childcare, babysitting, or caregiving is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain if not currently certified. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children are essential traits for success in this role.
