Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and support each child's growth. Your expertise in classroom management and early childhood education will help create a positive learning atmosphere for toddlers and preschoolers. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe and welcoming environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to encourage good conduct. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development. Facilitate daily activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development among children. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas to ensure a conducive learning environment. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Familiarity with toddler care techniques and behavior management strategies. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in a professional manner. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners are essential traits for this role.
Job Type/Hours Part time position:

$16.94 - $17.50 per hour
