Duties Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management strategies. Support children's individual needs by integrating special education techniques and early intervention practices when necessary. Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and promote collaborative child welfare efforts. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child development milestones and incidents. Conduct classroom activities that encourage learning through play, hands-on experiences, and interactive lessons tailored to toddlers and preschoolers. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification requirements. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring young children. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly valued. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure compliance and safety. Previous classroom experience involving literacy education, math instruction, or preschool teaching enhances your candidacy. Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
