Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time and Part-Time Childcare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children, fostering their development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring their safety and well-being are prioritized at all times. Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Create a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies. Support children's early intervention needs by adapting activities for children with special education requirements or developmental delays. Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's growth. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child welfare or safety. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certification. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives and participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction and preschool teaching best practices. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including child development instruction and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children using excellent communication skills. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, childhood welfare policies, and health & safety procedures such as first aid and CPR certification. Background in teaching physical education or tutoring young learners in core subjects like math is a plus. Hands-on experience with curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children enhances your ability to foster engaging learning experiences. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
