Job Summary Join our dedicated team as an In-Home Child Care Provider - Room Float, where you will play a vital role in supporting the daily care and development of children within a family's home environment. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work flexibly across different rooms and age groups, ensuring each child's needs are met with enthusiasm, professionalism, and compassion. As a Room Float, you will bring energy, adaptability, and expert childcare skills to create a safe, nurturing, and enriching atmosphere for children of various ages. Your expertise will help promote healthy growth, positive behavior, and joyful learning experiences in a family-centered setting. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across multiple age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Implement developmentally appropriate activities that foster early childhood education, social skills, and emotional well-being. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering or potty training, nap times, and playtime while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns that arise during your shift. Follow all safety protocols including pediatric first aid and CPR to respond promptly to emergencies or accidents. Support classroom management strategies by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management techniques. Collaborate with other caregivers and educators to ensure consistency in caregiving practices and curriculum implementation. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, nannying or babysitting roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred).- Will provideTraining Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within a caregiving environment. Ability to manage classroom activities effectively while maintaining a safe environment. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Passion for caregiving with a proactive attitude toward child supervision and behavior management.
