Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher and Part-Time Helper to join our vibrant childcare team. In this role, you will be instrumental in nurturing the growth and development of infants while providing essential support to our classroom environment. Responsibilities Provide attentive care and supervision for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with daily activities such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and age-appropriate play Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment Engage children with educational activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, language development, and social interaction Collaborate with lead teachers to implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards Observe and document developmental milestones and behavioral changes to inform ongoing care strategies Support the overall functioning of the classroom by assisting with administrative tasks and helping with other duties as needed Requirements Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in infant care Certification in First Aid and CPR required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong understanding of classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving techniques Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience for working with young children Flexibility to work part-time hours, including mornings or afternoons as scheduled
