In person Available Positions and Schedules Full-time teacher: 35-40 hours per week; eight-hour shifts scheduled between 6:55 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Part-time morning teacher:

Approximately 7:30-11:30 a.m.

Part-time afternoon teacher:

Approximately 1:00-5:30 p.m. Position Overview Adventure Awaits Learning Academy is seeking reliable, professional, and motivated full-time and part-time teachers to join our early learning team. Depending on experience, qualifications, availability, and classroom needs, applicants may be considered for an assistant teacher, lead teacher, or floater position. Teachers may work with children from infancy through Prekindergarten. Previous early childhood experience is preferred but not required for entry-level assistant teachers. We are willing to train applicants who are dependable, interested in child development, open to feedback, and able to consistently apply what they learn. Our part-time positions are especially well suited for college students, individuals pursuing careers in education or child development, and applicants who want hands-on experience in an early learning environment while maintaining a lighter work schedule. Our center has two full-time directors who are present each day and an Academic Coach who supports teachers with classroom goals, lesson implementation, professional development, and preparation for CLASS observations. Primary Responsibilities Maintain a safe, nurturing, caring, and engaging classroom environment. Supervise children closely and follow Louisiana licensing requirements and center policies. Work cooperatively with lead teachers, assistant teachers, floaters, and administrators. Help prepare and implement age-appropriate lessons and learning activities. Follow the center's curriculum, classroom schedule, and daily routines. Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development. Provide individualized support while encouraging independence. Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, meals, transitions, rest time, and other daily care routines. Use positive behavior-guidance strategies. Observe children's development and report concerns appropriately. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom. Communicate professionally with coworkers, administrators, children, and families. Assist in different classrooms when needed to maintain required ratios and support center operations. Participate in required training, coaching, staff meetings, and professional-development activities. Accept feedback and consistently apply new strategies in the classroom. Maintain dependable attendance and arrive ready to begin work at the scheduled time. Pay:

$10.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
