Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will engage with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, fostering their development through play-based learning and structured activities. Your expertise in behavior management and experience with diverse needs will be invaluable as you support each child's growth and learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Supervise children during activities to ensure their safety and well-being. Engage children in interactive play and educational activities that stimulate their curiosity and creativity. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere focused on the children's best interests. Manage behavior in a positive manner, using techniques that promote self-regulation among children. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Requirements Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers or preschools is preferred. Skills in babysitting, toddler care, infant care, and working with children with disabilities are highly desirable. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members. A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children. Ability to maintain patience and flexibility in a dynamic environment. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
