Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool/Toddler Teaching Assistant (TA)! Duties Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development for preschool and toddler children Assist with daily classroom routines including snack time, diapering or potty training, nap time, and outdoor play Supervise children closely to ensure safety and proper behavior management using positive reinforcement techniques Engage children in educational games, storytelling, arts and crafts, and sensory activities that foster creativity and learning Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to build strong partnerships Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid and pediatric CPR procedures Support individualized learning plans for children with special needs or disabilities by collaborating with teachers and specialists Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and engagement Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner Hands-on experience caring for infants or toddlers in daycare or home settings will strengthen your application Join us to inspire young minds through energetic teaching and compassionate caregiving!
