Position Details Co-teaching position Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., with additional hours available Tuesday & Thursday (2:00p.m.-4:30 p.m). Small class sizes in a supportive, collaborative environment $23-$25/hour, based on education, certification, and experience Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing classroom where children learn through play. Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences that support children's growth. Observe children's development, partner with families, and foster positive relationships. Maintain a safe, organized classroom in compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations. Collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and contribute to our caring school community. Qualifications Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, CDA Credential, or equivalent education meeting Massachusetts EEC Lead Teacher qualifications Massachusetts EEC Lead Teacher Certification (Infant/Toddler) required; Preschool certification preferred Minimum one year of experience in a licensed early childhood program CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain; reimbursement provided) Successful completion of all EEC Background Record Check requirements Strong communication and teamwork skills with a passion for play-based learning Why Join Hancock Nursery School? 401(k) with employer matching Paid time off Employee discount Tuition reimbursement Professional development and CPR/First Aid reimbursement Supportive leadership, collaborative teaching, and small class sizes Exceptional teachers create exceptional childhoods.
