Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an EEC Certified Toddler Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for young toddlers ages 16months-2yrs old. Your passion for childhood development and dedication to working with young children will inspire curiosity, foster growth, and lay the foundation for lifelong learning. As a vital part of our team, you will implement developmentally appropriate activities, ensure safety and well-being, and support each child's unique needs in a lively classroom setting. Duties Design and execute engaging daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in toddlers Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to tailor individual support strategies Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's activities, progress, and any concerns Implement classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and effective learning experiences Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness Support the physical needs of children through diapering, feeding, and comforting as required during the day Experience Valid EEC (Early Education and Care) certification or equivalent credential demonstrating compliance with state licensing requirements for toddler care Prior classroom experience working with toddler aged children or in daycare settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Experience working with children with diverse needs. Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for toddlers and young children Skills in classroom management, activity planning, and creating an engaging learning environment.
