Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and supporting the developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5 years. A focus on curriculum development and individualized instruction is essential to ensure each child's growth and learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education. Create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management strategies. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with special education professionals for early intervention strategies when necessary. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Provide care for young preschoolers as needed, ensuring their well-being throughout the day. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices, including behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
