Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and respectful interactions among children. Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development. Conduct assessments aligned with childhood development standards and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting lessons accordingly. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certifications. Experience Prior experience working with young children in preschool, or early childhood education settings is a must. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum implementation, lesson planning, classroom management, and child development instruction. Experience collaborating with parents to support child welfare and developmental goals. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with teaching physical education activities, literacy education methods, and math instruction tailored for preschool-aged children. Classroom experience in private or public school environments is preferred. Experience working with children with special needs or behavioral support is preferred Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in special education or early childhood education are advantageous.
