One location Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with implementing lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and overall childhood development. Support classroom management by helping maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive environment for children. Engage with children during activities, encouraging participation and fostering social-emotional growth. Help with daily routines such as snack time, bathroom breaks, and nap times to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress, especially for children with disabilities or autism. Support classroom setup and cleanup to maintain a clean and stimulating learning space. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote a positive educational experience. Supervises and ensures the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for the needs and/or problems of the children as individuals and as a group May assume temporary responsibilities of the teacher in the teacher's absence Assists with the daily reports, time logs, and incident reports Demonstrates commitment to center's philosophy and goals Follows all rules and regulations of the center, and complies with applicable regulations pertaining to the

MSDE/OCC

Skills Experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or preschool environments. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with disabilities or autism. Strong classroom management skills to assist in maintaining order and fostering positive behavior. Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff to support lesson planning and classroom activities. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues clearly and compassionately. Technical proficiency in using educational tools or digital resources relevant to early childhood teaching. Experience in literacy education, math instruction, and preschool teaching methodologies.
