Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants, fostering their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners and support their growth through innovative teaching strategies, curriculum development, and personalized care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the foundational years of a child's life. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development and literacy skills. Design lesson plans that incorporate learning technology and assessment-driven instruction to monitor student progress effectively. Manage classroom activities while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for infants. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in classroom management, conflict resolution, and behavior management strategies. Utilize student performance data analysis to tailor educational interventions and support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or academic interventions. Maintain detailed records of developmental milestones, assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with educational regulations. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding child progress, developmental concerns, and classroom activities. Qualifications Proven experience teaching young children in early childhood education settings or preschool environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math fundamentals, and physical education for infants. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs using multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and inclusive teaching practices. Familiarity with assessment tools such as LMS (Learning Management Systems) for tracking student progress and conducting quantitative analysis. Skilled in instructional design, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, families, and specialists. Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies based on student assessment data and individual learning styles. Knowledge of educational compliance standards and regulations relevant to early childhood programs. Additional qualifications such as Montessori training or experience working with toddlers are highly desirable. Pay:
$19,000.00 - $22,000.00 per year
