Job Description

Come lead our NC Pre-K classroom in Graham. $22-27/hour, immediate start, interviews this week. In full transparency, our teacher resigned unexpectedly this week and our 4-year-olds start Monday. We can't let them down! Boys-N-Girls Learning Academy (Kool Kidz Place) is a 5-star licensed center and a designated NC Pre-K site. One class of 4-year-olds. 30 children in the whole building. A team that actually supports each other. Where the children of today are learning for tomorrow!

this is a state-regulated NC Pre-K classroom, so the credential requirements are fixed and we can't make exceptions. You need a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field, AND a NC Birth-through-Kindergarten license — currently held, lateral-entry eligible, or actively in progress (6+ documented semester hours per year).   • 45 children, small classrooms, and a team that actually supports each other. Where the children of today are learning for tomorrow! The Role You'll lead our NC Pre-K classroom on a school-year calendar (late August
  • early June, following the local school district calendar):
  • Plan and deliver the state-approved NC Pre-K curriculum for a class of 4-year-olds
  • Conduct required child assessments and maintain NC Pre-K documentation
  • Work with our NC Pre-K administrator and the EESLPD Office on your licensure progression and professional development plan
  • Build strong daily relationships with families
  • Maintain a safe, warm, organized classroom that upholds our 5-star rating Requirements (verified before interview

  • Bachelor's degree in ECE, Child Development, or closely related field (transcripts required)
  • B-K License, B-K eligibility, or active enrollment toward B-K licensure (documentation required)
  • Current enrollment or willingness to enroll with the
NC EESLPD
Office
  • 2+ years teaching in a licensed classroom setting
  • Ability to pass all DCDEE background check requirements
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 30 days) What We Offer
