Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a key leader in the classroom, you will create a warm, engaging space that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your role is vital in fostering a love for learning while ensuring each child's individual needs are met through innovative curriculum development and compassionate guidance. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning strategies. Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports toddler care, preschool teaching, and early childhood development principles. Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management and classroom management techniques to promote positive interactions and safe learning spaces. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, discuss concerns, and foster strong home-school connections. Plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing preparation and child development instruction tailored to diverse learning styles. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies while maintaining accurate records of student progress and incident reports. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, early intervention strategies, special education accommodations, and teacher training initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings, including classroom experience with toddlers and young learners. Strong knowledge of childhood development, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum that supports literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and mandated reporting laws related to child welfare. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction, team collaboration, and instructional delivery. Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education preferred. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus; knowledge of standardized testing is advantageous. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
