Must have at least 6 months experience in a day care setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional skills tailored to each child's developmental stage. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring children's safety and well-being at all times. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships. Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports active learning and child welfare standards. Follow mandated reporting laws diligently to report any concerns related to child safety or welfare. Experience Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management for young learners. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and childhood development principles. Knowledge of classroom experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children, including physical education activities. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education are preferred. Prior experience working within private school environments or similar educational institutions is advantageous.
