We are looking for an experienced Lead Teacher to guide a classroom of young learners. Our ideal candidate will have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study

• OR•Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate•OR•two (or more) years of prior experience in a preschool center or home preschool facility.

In addition we seek someone who has: Respect for children, parents, teachers and the diversity they bring to the school Calm and pleasant demeanor Strong organizational skills Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including but not limited to standing, bending, sitting on the floor, and lifting a minimum of 35-pounds The essential function of the Lead Teacher is to provide a high-level of care and instruction to our enrolled children. The Lead Teacher creates lesson plans and designs activities to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. The person in this position reports to our Program Director.
