Child Care Teacher A Million Dreams Learning Center Are you passionate about working with children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive? A Million Dreams Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this important role, you will work collaboratively with fellow teachers to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children of various ages, values teamwork, and is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. Position Summary The Child Care Teacher is responsible for supporting children's development through meaningful interactions, engaging activities, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Teachers collaborate with coworkers to implement curriculum, maintain classroom routines, and ensure every child receives the individualized attention and support they need to succeed. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Collaborate with teaching teams to implement curriculum and age-appropriate learning activities. Support children's literacy, language, math, social-emotional, and physical development. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Utilize positive guidance and behavior management techniques to support children's growth and development. Create and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, and transitions. Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones as required. Maintain clear communication with families regarding classroom activities and child development. Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and center policies. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, daycare, or educational setting preferred. CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related degree preferred. Familiarity with childcare regulations, early childhood development, and developmentally appropriate practices. Experience with diverse learning styles and individualized instruction is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Must be able to pass all required background checks. CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and actively engage with children throughout the day. Compensation Pay:
